We wish to inform you that NiRA will be implementing an increase in the pricing for .NG domain names, effective February 1st, 2025.

You have the opportunity to renew or register new domains prior to this date.

"This is to remind you about the upcoming adjustments to the pricing structure for .ng domain names. These changes are necessary to maintain the sustainability and growth of the .ng domain ecosystem, as outlined by our President.
 
Please refer to the attached notification letter for a detailed overview of the new pricing, which will take effect on February 1st, 2025. This includes pricing for both second level and third level .ng domains."

 

Starting February 1st, 2025, the pricing will be as follows: .COM.NG domains will be available for ₦6,050.00, while .NG domains will be priced at ₦13,500.00.

- Second-Level Domain Registrations and Renewals:

  •  For .NG - Registration is ₦13,500 while Renewal is ₦14,950

- Third-Level Domain Registrations and Renewals:

  • For .COM.NG, .ORG.NG, .NET.NG - Registration is ₦6,050 while Renewal is ₦6,200
  • .SCH.NG, I.NG, .MOBI.NG - Registration is ₦6,900 while Renewal is ₦7,500
  • .NAME.NG - Registration is ₦5,000 while Renewal is ₦5,500

- Government Domains .GOV.NG: ₦9,000.00

- Tertiary Institutions .EDU.NG: ₦6,900 while Renewal is ₦7,500

Please be aware that all invoices can be settled before February 2025. After this date, any overdue .NG invoices will be automatically rendered invalid.
